Supplies Needed: Paper, pencil, and your choice of coloring materials Overview: Follow the step-by-step directions below to draw an animal from our local environment, a frog. Start with simple shapes and then add detail. Next, add a background. Think about where the frog might be sitting. Challenge yourself to draw some objects behind the frog and a few that overlap the frog’s body. This will create the element of space in your work. Once you are done drawing, color your work with any materials you choose.
